WELCOME TO THE UPDATED NEON GRAY SITE
There is no doubt that we’ve been rather dormant as a group in the past few months, but we’re back, and excited for the future. So, have a look at our similar-but-different and updated site. The design is more-or-less the same, just a little more solid and easier to read. The real update is in the background - we have switched from Wordpress to ExpressionEngine.
Although I believe Wordpress can’t be beat for blogging, some of our future plans with the site require a content management system that is more flexible with the type of information we can input, and that’s how we arrived at ExpressionEngine. One feature to be opened up within the next couple weeks is the Neon Gray Store (check out that tab up there). The goal is to sell our own products and become sustainable enough to fund more products, and reach out to other creative people for collaborations on new products.
This ‘News’ section is a new addition. We will post updates on our projects and, like any good blog, anything else we dub appropriate. It’s got an RSS feed if you’re interested
Lastly, to those who have been to this site before, you’ll notice that some of our work has changed - we updated some recent projects and removed some older ones.
As a technical side note, we’ve updated our .htaccess file so that all old URLs automatically redirect to the correct project page. For example, what once was http://www.neongray.info/cheer-up-california will automatically redirect to http://neongray.info/work/cheer_up_california/. You’re welcome.
